Kinesiologist, Coach & Author of Love Deliberately
Alfina Lofaro grew up on a 300-acre farm in rural Queensland, the daughter of Italian migrants, in a family and culture where she learned early that love could feel conditional and that belonging had to be earned.
For years, she tried to prove she was enough by doing more. She built a successful career, gathered qualifications, gave generously to the people around her, and became the person others could rely on. What she did not realise at the time was how much of that energy was being spent away from the relationship that most needed her attention: the one with herself.
A painful chapter in her own life led Alfina into deep reflection and eventually into the tools that now shape her work. She began to understand the unconscious patterns driving how people communicate, protect themselves, seek approval, avoid conflict, or repeat the same relational pain in different areas of life. That shift became the foundation for Love Deliberately, her work helping people become more conscious, compassionate and intentional in the way they relate.
Alfina’s message is simple, but far-reaching: relationships are not just something we experience, they are something we can learn to do better. Through her book Love Deliberately, her kinesiology practice, coaching, workshops and speaking, she helps people look honestly at how they show up with partners, children, family, colleagues, clients, money, health and themselves. Her work goes back to the core ingredients of healthy connection: trust, boundaries, communication, compassion, self-awareness and the willingness to take responsibility for your part.
With more than two decades of experience as a kinesiologist, coach, educator, author, speaker and leadership facilitator, Alfina brings both professional depth and lived honesty to this conversation. As a podcast guest, Alfina helps audiences understand why the way they love, communicate and connect shapes every part of their lives, and how they can begin to love more deliberately.
