Srimoyee, who likes to be called Sri, is a Recruitment Marketing and Employer Branding strategist with over 15 years of experience helping organizations attract, engage, and retain talent. She is the Founder of Lumen, a consultancy created to help Talent Acquisition leaders cut through the noise, simplify their hiring strategies, and reconnect with the human side of recruitment.
Her journey into employer branding began while working in talent acquisition across APAC, China, Hong Kong, and Australia, where she saw firsthand how candidates were promised innovation and care in job descriptions, only to encounter clunky processes or instant rejections. Those moments showed her the gap between message and experience — and inspired her to build Lumen as a way to close it.
Sri has since led global campaigns spanning South America, Japan, and Singapore, built employer brands from the ground up, and delivered results on both large budgets and zero-dollar ones. Along the way, she has learned that the most effective recruitment strategies blend clarity, authenticity, and empathy with measurable business impact.
Her work has been featured in MSN, Yahoo, and Business Insider, and she brings both strategy and lived experience to conversations about the future of hiring. Having been on both sides of the hiring table, she knows what it feels like to face rejection as a candidate or to tell a business leader a campaign isn’t working despite doing everything right. These experiences fuel her commitment to creating recruitment systems that are not just efficient, but also respectful and human.
As a podcast guest, Sri brings a unique mix of global expertise and personal insight to discussions on employer branding, candidate experience, and the evolving world of work.
