Meet Kai Law

Kai Law’s remote-work story began with Muay Thai training in Thailand. He chose to spend his leave learning the sport intensively at the source, and that experience pushed him to rethink how he wanted to live and work. Six months later, he booked a one-way ticket to Chiang Mai, launched an Amazon FBA business, and spent four years abroad, traveling to 20 countries.

When he later moved to Singapore, Kai joined an Amazon-focused agency and rose into leadership. He led a 10-person team across five time zones, managing a $20M portfolio of 20 clients in 10 countries, and the group achieved 90% client retention in 2024. The role sharpened the skills he now trains in sales professionals: structured communication, consistent follow-up, performance accountability, and clear consulting under pressure.

As he began feeling burnt out and “quiet quitting,” he rebuilt momentum by developing himself outside the laptop. He completed a personal-training course and spent time coaching in group fitness settings, rediscovering how much he enjoyed helping people change through structured coaching. That blend of remote leadership and in-person coaching now underpins the way he works with setters and closers.

Today, as a remote sales specialist and career strategist, Kai helps fellow setters and closers land remote roles and ramp fast. He shares the decisions and numbers behind his own journey from $0 to $15K/month, offering a clear view of what it actually takes to build income in high-ticket sales. He set a company record of 10 appointments booked before lunch on Day One, has closed over $1M across coaching, digital commerce, and property, and has supported seven-figure campaign launches as a remote specialist. He developed his “Break In 60” framework from his experience landing three new roles in under seven days—each time in a new industry—to help candidates secure their first remote-sales interview in around 60 days.

A Kiwi-Asian based in Singapore, Kai speaks openly about the realities of global selling, including communication clarity for US and Australian markets and the biases non-native speakers have to navigate, while showing what it looks like to build a high-ticket career from Asia rather than relocating.

As a podcast guest, Kai brings direct, candid stories and turns them into practical steps listeners can act on immediately.

Burnout is data, not identity-here’s how to use it as a strategic pivot

Burnout often shows up as boredom, avoidance, or doing just enough to get by. Instead of treating it as failure, Kai frames it as information: a signal that a career’s structure, challenge, or reward…

What Singapore’s workforce gets right-and what keeps people stuck
