Key topicsWhen You’ve Done the Work but Still Don’t Feel FreeA lot of people have tried therapy, coaching, meditation, or mindset work and still find themselves reacting the same way in conflict, feeling anxious in their bodies, or waking up with a sense of heaviness they can’t explain. It’s easy to assume that means they’re “not trying hard enough” or that something is wrong with them. Manna’s work with the EMPR Method starts from a different premise: your system may simply be holding on to old emotional and body memories that talking alone can’t shift. By working directly with sensation, breath, language, and identity patterns, she helps people process stored tension and emotion so that the self-work they’ve already done can finally land in day-to-day life. Rebuilding Yourself in Midlife without Burning Down the Life You’ve BuiltMany women reach their 40s with a “good” life that suddenly feels misaligned-careers, relationships, and roles that once made sense now feel too small or too costly. The usual narrative says you have to blow everything up to be true to yourself. Manna offers a different path: instead of reacting from pain or guilt, you can work with the emotional imprints and body memories that keep you repeating the same choices. Through stories of clients navigating promotions, relocations, and family shifts, she shows how to unbecome old identities gently, so that endings and beginnings can coexist. Why Insight Alone Doesn’t Shift High-Functioning ClientsMany people who’ve tried therapy, coaching, or self-development still feel their body is holding onto something their mind has already understood. The common belief is that deeper insight or more analysis will eventually create change, yet high-functioning clients often use their intelligence as a defence while their nervous system stays in old survival patterns. Drawing on her work with EMPR and her experience training practitioners, Manna explains why methods that address emotion, memory, and the body together can release long-held patterns without retraumatising. She also highlights what practitioners need to watch for when clients appear highly self-aware but remain stuck at the same emotional threshold. View all topics →

About Manna Abraham

Manna Abraham, podcast guest

Ex-CFO Trauma Mentor & EMPR Method™ Creator Helping High Performers Lead with Inner Peace

20+ years Personal & professional leadership experience35+ countries EMPR Method practised worldwide30+ Certified practitioners personally trainedChartered Accountant & CPA Finance credentials

Manna Abraham spent the first chapter of her life in boardrooms. A Chartered Accountant and CPA who became the youngest CFO of a multinational, she learned how to navigate complex numbers, global teams, and the unspoken politics of visibility and influence. On paper, she’d “made it.” In reality, she hit a quieter crisis: performance without peace started to feel like another form of struggle.

That turning point sent her into a deep inquiry: why do intelligent, successful people keep hitting the same emotional walls—grief, loss, burnout, a sense that life looks fine but feels off? Instead of treating that as a personal weakness, Manna began to see it as unprocessed trauma and inherited patterns showing up in very high-functioning ways.

Drawing on trauma-informed practice, neuroscience, somatic work, and ancient Eastern philosophies like Sankhya and Vedanta, she created the Emotion Memory Pattern Release (EMPR) Method™ and the 27 Dimensions of Being™, a practical way to release deeply held emotional patterns without endlessly retelling your story. Through her company Life Full Circle, she now works with self-aware professionals, leaders, and entrepreneurs who want to keep their ambition but change the nervous system it’s running on.

About this episode

What if everything you've been doing to heal is actually keeping you stuck?

In this episode, I sit down withManna Abraham— former CFO, founder of the Emotion Memory Pattern Release Method, and author of Finally Free — to explore why so many people spend years (or decades) in the healing loop without ever truly starting to live.

Manna shares her journey from chartered accountant and CFO to trauma recovery specialist, including the day she couldn't move from her bed for three days despite every credential and certification she'd earned. That moment forced one question: what is there left to lose?

In this conversation you'll discover why your values may be rooted in fear rather than strength, the difference between knowledge and wisdom and why knowing something doesn't mean you're living it, the four internal instruments of the mind and how discernment changes everything, three powerful questions that cut through survival mode and point you toward what you actually want, and why time doesn't heal — you do — and how Manna helps clients step out of complex trauma in hours rather than years.

Manna's book Finally Free: The Six-Step Path for Overcoming Personal and Generational Trauma When Talk Therapy Is Not Enough is a do book, not a read book — each step is meant to be applied, not just understood.
