Author of Change Starts with Choice and Leader of Keller Williams Scotland
Ev Foster’s work is grounded in a simple but demanding idea: meaningful change begins with a choice—and most people have lost confidence in their ability to make one and stand by it.
That insight didn’t come from theory. It emerged through years of working closely with people who looked capable on the outside but felt quietly stuck on the inside. Through her professional career, including heading up Keller Williams in Scotland, Ev worked with people expected to make decisions under pressure. What she noticed again and again was that the problem usually wasn’t a lack of motivation or insight—it was a breakdown in self-trust. When people stop believing their decisions will hold, they hesitate, outsource their choices, or stay frozen.
Change Starts With Choice grew out of that observation. Rather than focusing on dramatic reinvention or rigid frameworks, Ev’s work centers on rebuilding decision-making from the inside out. The approach is practical and deliberately small: guided prompts, daily micro-moves, and tools that help people notice where they’re avoiding choice—and how to step back into agency without needing everything to be clear first.
To deepen this work, Ev is currently studying toward a Master Diploma in Intuitive Psychology, with graduation expected in mid-2026. Her motivation is rooted in a core belief that lasting change happens when people learn to trust their inner self and become comfortable relying on their own intuition, rather than constantly looking outside themselves for answers.
This philosophy is also at the heart of her book, Change Starts with Choice: Awaken Your Power and Create Your Life by Design. Drawing from her own lived experience, Ev offers a grounded framework for navigating change—not as a single turning point, but as a series of choices that compound over time. The book blends personal storytelling with practical exercises designed to be used in real life, not admired from a distance.
Her Skool community acts as a living laboratory for this work. It’s a space for people who feel they’ve outgrown their old story but don’t yet have language for the next one. The emphasis isn’t on speed or perfection, but on consistency—choosing again and again, even when the path feels messy or uncertain.
Ev speaks candidly about the discomfort of change and the quiet cost of staying stuck. She doesn’t position herself as someone with all the answers, but as someone who understands what it takes to choose differently when fear, doubt, and old patterns are loud.
As a podcast guest, Ev helps audiences reconnect with their ability to choose—offering practical language and tools that make change feel possible, grounded, and human.
