Todd Graves didn’t initially set out to reform golf instruction. He was a competitive golfer trying to understand why a game built on precision felt so unreliable for so many people—including himself. The more he studied traditional swing instruction, the more he noticed a pattern: layers of compensations, constant adjustments, and a system that worked best for the young, flexible, and endlessly practicing.
Everything shifted when Todd studied the swing of Moe Norman.
Moe’s Single Plane Swing® wasn’t just unconventional—it was startlingly simple. One plane. Fewer moving parts. A setup that reduced timing and stress on the body. Todd saw immediately that this wasn’t just a swing for elite ball strikers; it was a system that made sense for everyday golfers who wanted consistency without wrecking their backs, hips, or confidence.
That insight became the foundation of Graves Golf.
Together with his brother Tim, Todd built a program dedicated exclusively to teaching Moe Norman’s approach—not by copying positions, but by turning it into a structured, teachable system. Graves Golf now operates locations across the United States, headquartered in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Todd’s work now sits at the intersection of golf, biomechanics, and how humans learn complex skills.
