Key topicsWhat “AI for everyone” actually looks like (at 20x lower cost than ChatGPT)A lot of AI companies talk about serving everyone, but their products are still built around the economics and expectations of a few wealthy markets. Bruce can speak to what changes when affordability, accessibility, and everyday usefulness are treated as the foundation of the platform, not an afterthought, and why Agnes AI has focused on delivering roughly 90% of top-tier AI capability at around 10% of the cost. For hosts, this creates a strong conversation about what it really takes to make AI genuinely global, commercially viable, and useful to the other 99.5% of users most frontier platforms still overlook. Why AgnesAI could become the most trusted company in techAs more businesses bring AI into core decisions, trust is starting to matter just as much as raw capability. Bruce can speak to why Agnes AI is being built around neutrality, accessibility, and broad global usability at a time when many leading platforms are becoming entangled in political power, national allegiance, and closed ecosystems. With a multi-model architecture designed for flexibility, cost efficiency, and performance - including Agnes Claw rankings of #7 and #12 globally on PinchBench, ahead of models from several much larger AI companies - this becomes a timely conversation about why the company best positioned for long-term trust may be the one that feels safest, most usable, and most adaptable to the widest range of users. Building Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing AI platformBruce’s entrepreneurial story spans Silicon Valley, Singapore, China, and multiple tech cycles, giving him a much wider lens than the average AI founder. With experience across Microsoft, LinkedIn, Berkeley, and now Agnes AI - a Singapore-based company approaching 10 million global users and nearly US$20 million in ARR - he can speak to what it takes to build a serious AI company outside the usual power centres. For founder and business audiences, this creates a strong conversation about conviction, timing, and why some of the next important tech companies may be built far from the places the industry is trained to watch. Bruce Yang has spent his career building at the edge of major technology shifts, from the early social and platform era to today’s race to shape AI. Born in China, educated in Singapore and at UC Berkeley, and now leading one of Singapore’s leading homegrown AI companies, he brings a genuinely international perspective to a field too often framed around just a few power centres. That perspective now drives Agnes AI, the company he founded to make advanced AI more accessible, affordable, and usable far beyond the usual circles of technical insiders and heavily funded markets.

Bruce studied Computer Science and Mathematics at Berkeley and is now pursuing a PhD in AI at the National University of Singapore. Before founding Agnes, he built inside companies that defined an earlier era of tech growth, including Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Fitbit, and also founded startups of his own. Those experiences gave him a clear view of both what high-growth technology can do and who often gets left out of it.

That gap sits at the centre of his work today. Bruce talks about building “AI for the other 99.5%” — a vision that reflects both the scale and the practicality of what Agnes is trying to do.
