What identity restoration really involves after a major life shift

Sudden change-whether separation, job loss or relocation-reshapes a person’s internal reference points even when their external life appears intact. Pamela reframes reinvention as a process of remembering rather than starting from scratch. Drawing from psychology, neuroscience and spirituality, she breaks down how clarity, emotional regulation and self-trust are re-established during transitions, helping people understand why the aftermath often feels more confusing than the change itself.

Pamela Blaney’s work began in the aftermath of her marriage breakdown in late 2017, when she turned to writing as a way to understand the disorientation she felt. After a reconciliation, the relationship ended again in 2020—a second rupture that brought her back to the manuscript with a clarity she hadn’t had before. The process forced her to rebuild a sense of identity she realised she had been slowly losing, and those pages eventually became her book, The Crown You Never Lost.

Her healing wasn’t driven by slogans or quick fixes. It grew from the slow work of learning to trust her own thoughts again. She explored psychology, neuroscience and spirituality not as abstract concepts, but as practical tools to regulate her emotions, understand her patterns and make sense of who she was becoming. What began as private reflection gradually evolved into a way of supporting other women navigating painful endings, uncertainty and the collapse of futures they once relied on.

Eshora emerged from that same season of rebuilding. Blending emotional clarity tools, affirmation jewellery, guided journals and a collection of courses and resources, Pamela created a space where women could reconnect with their worth and understand the shifts happening within them.
