Internal Medicine Physician and Founder of Noor Esthetique & Wellness Center
Dr. Furhan Qureshi’s career has been shaped by one recurring fascination: transformation. Long before he entered medicine, he was drawn to how people change—physically, psychologically, and under pressure. That curiosity followed him through medical school, where an early back injury quietly redirected his path away from surgery and toward internal medicine, a discipline that let him study the human body in its entirety rather than in parts.
He went on to work as a hospitalist in high-acuity inpatient settings, often taking on complex cases that demanded both speed and judgment. During COVID, he spent years on the front lines in hospitals and ICUs, caring for patients at their most vulnerable while public trust in medicine grew increasingly strained. Alongside this work, he served—and continues to serve—as an officer and reservist in the United States Air Force, where his training includes combat and disaster medicine and a deep familiarity with how the body responds under extreme conditions.
That full-spectrum exposure, from severe systemic illness to battlefield medicine, now informs how he approaches aesthetic and wellness care. In 2023, while deployed on a joint U.S.–Peruvian Air Force exercise, Furhan began laying the groundwork for Noor Esthetique & Wellness Center, handling regulatory and operational planning from hotel rooms at night after completing his military duties during the day. When he returned home, he opened a boutique practice grounded in restraint, realism, and clinical science.
Furhan is driven by a simple concern: in an era where health advice is louder, faster, and more performative than ever, it has become genuinely difficult for people to separate evidence from enthusiasm. His work is shaped by a desire to make accurate medical information accessible again, without fearmongering or false promises. He focuses on restorative, regenerative approaches that respect physiology and longevity, aiming for results that look natural because they are biologically sound. His perspective reflects a broader reality that appearance, health, and professional identity are now intertwined—and that medicine has a responsibility to meet that reality honestly.
As a podcast guest, Furhan blends rigorous clinical thinking with dry humour, cultural awareness, and a clear-eyed willingness to challenge bad ideas, creating conversations that are grounded, sharp, and distinctly human.
