About this episode

In this episode, we dive deep into the collective "midlife crisis" our modern world is currently navigating. This isn't just a phase; it is a primal call to "come back home"—to return to our true nature, biological reality, and a grounded sense of self.

Inside this episode:

The Global Midlife Crisis: Why society’s current chaos is a symptom of a massive disconnection from our roots and the realization that the old way of living is no longer sustainable.

The Epstein Files & Leadership:

We analyze the Epstein scandal not just as a crime, but as a chilling indicator of a systemic rot. What happens when the people leading our society are completely disconnected from nature and human ethics?

Super Bowl Commercials & Masculinity:

A look at the powerful messaging during the big game. How high-budget ads encourage the denial of feelings in men and reinforce a hollow version of "strength" that ignores biological truth.

The Path Back Home:

How to recognize these societal traps and start the journey back to individual and collective homeostasis.

"The world is screaming for a reset. It’s time to stop running and start coming back home."

Listen now to explore why society is at a breaking point and how we can find our way back to sanity.

About the guest:

Morgan Rich is a men’s coach, facilitator, and author of The Invitation Beyond, supporting men who sense that something essential is missing—even when life looks “successful” on the outside. His work is for men who have done everything right and still feel restless, disconnected, or unsure what actually matters.

Through deep listening, emotional presence, and daily practice, Morgan helps men come home to themselves and build lives rooted in integrity, ease, and real aliveness. His framework, Training for the unkNOWn, supports men in staying present through discomfort, cultivating self-trust, and taking courageous, heart-centered action in their relationships and lives.

Morgan’s deepest credential is lived experience. He walks the path he invites others onto, offering the guidance he once needed himself. His work helps men meet life honestly—one real moment at a time—and choose a life that genuinely feels worth living.

Why the Old Model of Masculinity No Longer Works

For too long, masculinity has been equated with control, dominance, and shutting down emotions—leaving men disconnected and alone. In his book, The Invitation Beyond: Reclaiming Healthy Masculinity, Morgan offers another way: a vision rooted in presence, flexibility, and care. He shows how men can step out of rigid roles and step into authentic connection with themselves and others.

Honoring Life Transitions

Threshold moments show up in many forms: leaving home, school shifts, new jobs, midlife reckonings, or when your heart knows it’s time to commit, name a hidden truth, or stand for yourself or your family differently. Morgan highlights how these changes—often minimized in our culture—are actually potent openings for reflection and growth. In his Threshold Coaching and Find Your Path program, he helps people meet these moments with presence and courage instead of fear, turning uncertainty into clarity and belonging.

What I’ve Learned from Sitting with Men at Their Most Vulnerable

Morgan has spent years holding space for men in the moments they usually face alone—grief after/during a breakup, fear in midlife, or doubt about who they are becoming. He doesn’t arrive with pep talks or platitudes; he shows up in the fire with them. These experiences give him rare insight into what men need most: presence, honesty, and permission to bring their full selves into the room.
